Licensed Real Estate Broker
Scott Prewitt is an accomplished Real Estate Broker and developer with over 30 years of experience in real estate sales, acquisitions, and large-scale development throughout Florida. His family has been active in Osceola County real estate since the mid-1970s—his father was one of the original brokers working alongside Bob Kingsland in assembling the parcels that would ultimately become Walt Disney World.
As Vice President of DIX Developments, LLC, Scott oversees a diversified 5,000-acre portfolio valued at more than $360 million, encompassing residential, multifamily, and commercial projects. His leadership has been instrumental in advancing several major developments, including The Vive on Eola in downtown Orlando; Roan Bridge, a 1,224-unit mixed-use community in St. Cloud; and a variety of master-planned residential projects across Central Florida.
In Citrus County, Scott has played a pivotal role in shaping the region’s growth and housing opportunities. Under his direction, DIX Developments is acquiring land and building multiple new communities, including Crystal Ridge in Lecanto and Black Diamond Town Center, as well as additional single-family and multifamily projects designed to meet the area’s expanding residential and commercial demand. These developments reflect his commitment to providing quality housing, first-class retail spaces, and sustainable growth that enhance the lifestyle and economy of Citrus County.
Beyond real estate, Scott is deeply engaged in public service and community support. He proudly serves as an Honorary Sheriff’s Deputy in Seminole, Osceola, St. Johns, and Citrus Counties for his leadership and volunteerism through local Sheriff Foundations. In recognition of his dedication to supporting law enforcement and military families, Scott received the Seven Seals Award from the U.S. Department of Defense for meritorious leadership and initiative on behalf of the men and women who serve in the National Guard and Reserve.
Scott has been married to his wife, Lisa, for 36 years, and together they have two children.
