Mr. Smith is a seasoned real estate executive with more than 30 years of experience in real estate development, project structuring, and financial planning.
As Senior Vice President of Community and Capital Engagement at DIX Developments, he plays a central role in navigating complex public processes—regularly representing the company at BOCC hearings and community meetings. He also manages key capital relationships, working closely with investment partners and financial institutions to support large-scale development initiatives.
Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts from St. John’s University and a Master’s degree in organizational and clinical psychology. Outside of his professional career, he is a fourth-degree black belt in American Combat Karate and has trained hundreds of students. He has also provided executive protective services for high-profile individuals in the entertainment and business industries.
