James Brunton serves as Executive Vice President of Operations and Investment Strategy at DIX Developments, a Florida-based real estate investment and development firm with over $200 million in assets under management. As a second-generation leader in the company, James plays a critical role in managing day-to-day operations, overseeing capital planning, and executing the firm’s long-term investment strategy.

He leads operational workflows across active development projects, including entitlement tracking, engineering coordination, funding execution, and internal team oversight. He oversees the day-to-day management of the sales pipeline and project execution for national builder partnerships, working closely with internal teams responsible for builder negotiations and contracts.

James also serves as the primary liaison to institutional investors, family offices, and the firm’s banking partners on transactions exceeding $100 million in value. He oversees financial coordination across multiple entities, including corporate tax filings, payables, and capital allocations. Fully empowered to manage company operations in the absence of executive leadership, James plays an active role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction.

In addition to his role at DIX Developments, James serves on the Boards of two active Community Development Districts in Florida, overseeing projects with a combined bonding capacity of over $75 million.

He holds a degree in Business Marketing from the University of Central Florida and previously worked in global trading technology with PremiereTrade before joining the executive team at DIX Developments.
